Vietnam’s First AR Fireworks

Challenge

Fireworks are the biggest shared event of the year, drawing everyone out to celebrate. However, for the past 3 years during Covid, Vietnamese people have been denied the day they look forward to the most. As part of a self-promotion campaign, TMRW decided to bring cheer to all of Vietnam on Liberation Day by giving them what they miss most, wherever and whenever they desire.

Idea

We utilised WebAR to deliver our message through a captivating AR fireworks performance that tells a story. This web-based augmented reality experience allowed users to enjoy Vietnam’s first AR fireworks display anywhere they wanted, with special emphasis on The People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi Opera House.

To capture the attention of the masses, we collaborated with Vietnamese KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) to generate buzz for the campaign.
